My original Vampirella picture [link] is the most popular image in my Deviantart Gallery. However, I drew that piccy over five years ago, so decided it was time for another bash at the vamp herself.

For whatever reasons I seem drawn to portraying her as a girl in her late teens/early twenties. In contrast, most of the popular depictions of Vampirella portray her as a much older woman (probably in her late twenties/early thirties).

Anyhow, I think a young Vampirella just adds to the sexiness and mystique of the character! :)

You may be right there with the Jennifer Connelly comparison, I didn't notice that before. I didn't base her face on anyone in particular, but fondly remember Miss Connelly from my days watching Labyrinth!
